Connor Bushoven (he/him)

Writer, Director, voice of the Keeper

Connor Bushoven is the project’s writer and director, and he also provides the voice of the Keeper of the Brass Eagle Tavern.  The Keeper is a strange, standoffish man, and someone who has more to him than meets the eye.  Rumors follow in his wake, and he often has a different answer for everyone who asks him about why he is in the tavern…

Connor Bushoven is a voice actor and artist who has worked on feature films including Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and The Lion King: Mufasa’s Journey.    Welcome to the Brass Eagle is Connor’s first major writing venture, and has been nearly four years in the making.  The idea has followed him across several moves and two continents, and he is incredibly excited to finally be able to show the world what he and the team have been working on.

As a voice actor he has played roles including the Electrician in The Sheridan Tapes, Daddy in Feminist Fairytales’ Bell Witch retelling, and the villainous Gabriel Grant in Vox Elysium from Paperless Pulp.

Michael DeMauro (he/him)

Producer

Michael DeMauro helps produce this project by connecting the crew with other talented and creative people, all united in their desire to breathe life into stories like this one. His background as a writer allows him to assist in the world building process that defines the fantasy genre.

Michael is a writer and filmmaker; a storyteller. His career began in the entertainment industry, on the sets and in the production offices of movies and TV shows. From independent films and shorts, to working with Disney, Marvel, Blumhouse, AMC and other big studios, he’s enjoyed meeting other creatives in the industry over the years. Still, Michael prefers smaller indie projects. He hopes to focus his energy on helping new voices be heard and fresh stories be told.

Outside of work, Michael is an avid Dungeons & Dragons player, a reader of books, a player of video games, and ultimately he aspires to finally publish a book series in the near future.

Candace Mortier (she/her)

Marcus joins us as a sound effects editor for Episode 1, and his sound design expertise can be heard in the rich soundscape crafted throughout the many locations featured in our first episode.

Amanda P.H. Bennett (she/her)

Sound Designer

Amanda P.H. Bennett (formerly Amanda Peach Hughes) has sound designed and edited as well as composed music for over 70 independent and commercial projects. Several of these films have been selected for and have won awards at film festivals throughout the globe, including San Diego Comic Con International Film Festival, Canadian Diversity Film Festival, Prague International Film Festival, and Annecy International Animation Film Festival.

She is also the lead sound designer for cAMP studio, a boutique music and post-production sound studio for film and media.

Her excitement in her work is inspired by the impact audio productions can have on people's lives and how they can be used as a tool to inspire hope and life through them.

Yemi Kanmi (they/them)

Sound Designer

Yemi Kanmi is a Nigerian-American composer, producer, songwriter, sound designer, audio engineer, and educator with a career spanning nearly a decade, currently leading music and audio operations for productions from Tlacuache Studios, Shockwave Animation, Aftershock Animations, and more. Outside of work, Yemi enjoys learning trivia, studying languages, and cooking steak. A lot of steak.

Mike LeBeau (he/him)

as the Narrator

Mike is an experienced podcast voice actor having worked on a variety of podcasts, mostly in the horror scene. A drama kid from a young age, Mike performed in stage theatre since he was in school, and in short films in college and university, all the while being told that he had a voice for radio. After a happenstance meeting with Alex Newall, he was offered his first voice acting role in The Magnus Archives and he's remained in the scene ever since! You may know him as the voice of Tim Stoker from The Magnus Archives, Mark LeBouf from Tiny Terrors, Richter & Paul Collins from The Town Whispers and Nate Stutter from Soul Operator.

E.R. Hollands (she/they)

as Amara

E.R. Hollands is a voice actor, writer and D&D enthusiast. Her main ambition is to bring characters to life - be it with her voice, stories, or rolls of the dice. Between fan projects, original pieces, and a bundle of her own writing ideas, it's safe to say E.R. Hollands is always working on something, and drinking copious amounts of tea while doing it.

Maddi Albregts (any)

as Ellis

Maddi is an accomplished Classical and Musical stage actor, who jumped into the wonderful world of voice over and hasn't looked back. Having credits in video games, animation, audio dramas, and more, Maddi is an avid storyteller and is drawn to complex tales and compelling characters.

Abigail Turner (she/her)

as Lily (Episode 1) and the Blacksmith (Mini Episode 3)

Abigail Turner crafts compelling performances across the video game, animation, audio drama, commercial, and narration arenas. You can hear her impressive range, authenticity, and charm in such titles as Oxenfree II: Lost Signals, Minecraft Dungeons & Dragons, Dislyte, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Fallout 76, Immortals of Aveum, Remothered: Broken Porcelain, My Time at Sandrock, and many more. Off the mic, she's probably out exploring in the woods with a novel to read (or write), or thinking about what flavor of tea to try next. And don't get her started on her cat. 

Madeleine Norton (she/her)

as Amara's Mother

Madeleine has been working as a voice actor for three years, having recently earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting. She has studied theatre and film acting in conservatory for eight years, and has been training her voice for singing as well as acting for over fifteen years. 

Most of her recent work can be found on Audible, Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube. She has been known for taking on various roles as she enjoys playing with range, accents, and characterizations--Leading her audio work to span across the globe in such places as the U.S., Australia, and the U.K.

She currently works alongside Audible, Audivita, and Beacon Audiobooks producing narration, as well as The Last Prophecy Gaming, Replica Studios, and UberDuck voicing animated characters in upcoming games and films. She writes and co-host for comedy podcast University Radio, as well as voicing characters in other audio dramas like Beyond The Dark's The Strata and The Road of Shadows, The Call of The Flame, The Madness of Chartrulean, Planet Nine, and Ninja!

Meredith Nudo (she/her)

as Vega

Meredith Nudo is a Houston-based voiceover artist and comedian with experience in animation, video games, ADR (animation/live action), audio drama, film, and other media.

Some of the projects she's had the honor of being involved with thus far include AFK Arena: Just Esperia Things! (Dolly; Additional voices), The Sheridan Tapes (Amy Sterling), Mythic Girls (Mutu; Illy), Beyond the Edge of Owlsguard (Shashenka Svetlana van Slyme), Dooro Bear (Moon; Ladybug), and Fashion Police Squad (The Karen). Fashion Police Squad was featured in the 2023 AGDQ event.

As a comedian, she primarily work within sketch and improv, with experience both on stage as well as behind the scenes in directing and producing roles. She co-produced the 2019 Trill Comedy Festival at Station Theater in Houston, and has had some work directed for stage by Kids in the Hall's Kevin McDonald.

Paul Warren (he/him)

as Drew

Paul Warren is a Scottish voice actor based in Edinburgh. After developing a love for acting through youth theatre classes and productions at St Andrews' Byre Theatre, he took up online voice acting as a way to keep in practice once he'd left his hometown. After developing a knack for accents through losing and regaining his own during some childhood years spent in the U.S, it seemed like a waste not to.

Over the years he has voiced a wide range of roles in games, audio dramas, film, animation and audio books, such as a contemplative lighthouse keeper in Inkle's A Highland Song, a friendly villager speaking a fake language in Twirlbound's Pine, and a curious AI cat in Sad Owl Studios' Viewfinder.

Diana Helen Kennedy (she/her)

as the Emcee and a Storyteller

Diana Helen Kennedy (she/her/hers), is a voice actor with over four decades of acting experience.

Diana's voice has been featured in several projects including MARVEL Move, My Time At Sandrock, Cascadia with 911 Podcast Productions, and the Bardsung TTG Audio Expansion pack with Forteller Games. Prominent upcoming roles include Warrior Cats with WC Animation and Blood of the Cursed One with Cosmic Dawn Productions. She has also contributed to many other voiceover genres including corporate narration and e-learning. Diana has studied with such prominent voice talents as Crispin Freeman, Jennifer Hale, and Sara Cravens.

On stage she has performed as Shakespeare heroines including Katherina, Goneril, and Titania, and other famous characters in literature such as Andromache, Clytemnestra, Fanny Dashwood, and Lucy Steele.

A native of New Jersey (she's heard all of the Jersey jokes), Diana lives in the Boston area with her husband Ryan. Outside of acting, Diana is a published interior designer and devoted mini poodle mom.

Brian Jeffords (he/him)

as the Drunk Taverngoer (Episode 1) and the Fisherman (Mini Episode 1)

Brian is a professional voice actor working primarily out of his home studio in Ankeny, IA.

His work has been used in animation, video games, commercials, audio books, and even guided sleep meditations.

Brian brings full commitment to each role to provide an authentic, believable, and exciting performance every single time.

Mei Xin Bierzynski (she/her)

Mei Xin Bierzynski is a remote capable voice actor located in Birmingham, Michigan (willing to relocate if necessary)! Born in China and adopted by an American Family, she lived most of her life in the United States. In 2022, gaining an interest of voice over, she delved deep into what steps to take to pursue voiceover thus took to Casting Call Club and other voice over servers as well as attending classes. Since then, Mei has appeared in indie games and audio dramas.

Tim Winters (he/him)

As a creative, Tim has passion for everything creative. If it can be expressed, he will be there to support! Tim found his way into the voice over world with the express intent on sharing stories, and making sure that certain voices are heard. Everyone has a story to tell, and it can all be turned into something digestible and amazing to share with the world. Let your voice be heard!

Chrysanthe Grech (she/her)

as a Storyteller

Chrysanthe attended Middlesex University (1976 to 1978), and as comedy is her first love, she has contributed to radio plays, voice-overs and jingles using her own voice to create characters with many accents and dialects, both foreign and English. She is also a fluent Greek speaker.

The pandemic, for all its faults, inspired her to invest in her own home recording equipment, and so she taught herself how to record, mix and master, and mainly works from home doing voice-overs. Reading stories and bringing life to the written word is one of her passions!

Recent credits include voice-overs for Warner Bros’ Harry Potter at Universal Studios, and films like Juliet Remembered and The Sleeping Room.

Maia Harlap (she/her)

as a Storyteller

Maia Harlap is a Jewish-Australian creative currently studying at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. She voices in many indie works across multiple mediums, most recently playing Jane in the video game My Time at Sandrock.

Michael Mishkin (he/him)

as a Storyteller

Michael Mishkin is an actor and father of four (cats) with a broad range of other lives, ranging from linguistics to fine dining to software engineering. For him, acting is a chance to experience all the other paths that are out there, real or imaginary.

Swann Grey (they/them)

as Townie #1

Swann Grey is a queer non-binary Asian-American voice actor native to Southern California, a transplant to New York City, and a current resident of Chicago. In addition to collecting cities to live in, Swann enjoys bingeing old TV shows and doodling in their free time. Having always wanted to be a voice actor growing up but only now getting into voice acting decades later, they are a late bloomer proving that it’s possible to pursue one’s dreams at any point in one’s life. Swann is super excited to be part of the Brass Eagle crew!

Ty Wilkins is a full-time Voice Actor with experience in Video Games, Commercials, ADR, and Animations. His specialty is Character Voices, Commercials, and Video Game work, but he loves this job and what he does, so he;s happy to lend his voice to just about any project!

Cali Holman (they/them)

Cali Holman is a young voice actor from Alabama (roll tide) that started their VO journey during the COVID lockdown.  During that time, they discovered they could explore and grow in their passion of acting from their own home (or anywhere with a nicely sound treated closet!) and have been voicing in indie animations and projects ever since.
