Trailer #1: Concept Trailer

NARRATOR

They say it’s called the Brass Eagle Tavern.

Those few who have visited for themselves describe it as a bit large for a tavern, but otherwise unremarkable.

It’s a building just like any other, made of timber, stone, glass and thatch.  But of course…there are rumors.

They say that the building has a strange magic about it.  Untethered to any one location, it’s a place that wanders and moves somewhere new with each fresh dawn.

But that would be impossible.  These sorts of things, witnessed by some and proven by none, are not to be trusted.

[We hear the sounds of a clock chiming, accompanied by crackling electricity and rumbling thunder.  Suddenly, a thunderclap, and an eagle’s screech as the teleportation magic takes effect.]

NARRATOR

And yet…the rumors persist.

STORYTELLER 1

I’ve heard that the place is filled with gold.  Just bursting with riches.

AMARA

Well?  Did you go inside?

DRUNK TAVERNGOER

Like hell I did!  I turned and got out of there as fast as I could!

STORYTELLER 2

You know they say if you go inside, you’ll never be seen again?

TOWNIE 2

I call bull.

VEGA

No way.

AMARA

It’s real.

NARRATOR

It’s very real indeed.  But…it’s not quite in line with all those rumors.

AMARA

I…I can’t be here right now!

MOM

Amara!

AMARA

I can’t!  I’m sorry!

NARRATOR

A young vagabond with powerful magical talents, on the run from home.

ELLIS

The first time I…showed someone what I could do, they turned on me.  It’s not like I asked for this!

NARRATOR

And the tavern’s proprietor, a mysterious man known only as the Keeper…

KEEPER

There’s room for all, so long as your coin is good!  But…kindly note the sign.  We close at midnight.  No exceptions.
